Dressing to Flatter

Looking good isn’t rocket science, but for some women getting started can be the hardest part. Determining your figure shape is the most important part of dressing well. This means finding where you gain weight the easiest. If it’s your mid-section, you tend towards the apple shape, and if it’s your thighs and butt, you follow pearish proportions. The following tips should help you decide how to wear what.

Bra: You want your bra to lift your breasts away from your waist, so choose one that has a lot of lift.

Women body shapers: Choose your body shapers so that you look slimmer without any lumps. Lumps actually make you look fatter, so buy women body shapers that are bigger. This will not only be more comfortable, but it will also even out cellulite and make your body look smoother and tighter.

Baggy clothes: Wearing overly baggy clothing can make you look boxy. You want something that will display a silhouette, without revealing any rolls.

Skinny jeans: These make your butt look big. If you have a tiny butt, wear them, but if you don’t need any more showcasing, stick with opaque stockings and a skirt.

Color: Black is great, but so are other dark colors like navy, burgundy, brown and grey.
